The AED Saver 1 is a fully automatic external defibrillator (AED) engineered to deliver safe, effective, and rapid treatment during sudden cardiac arrest situations. It analyzes heart rhythm, determines whether a shock is required, and automatically delivers the appropriate energy level — reducing hesitation and human error in critical moments.

Defibrillation & Performance

The AED Saver 1 uses an Adaptive Biphasic Truncated Exponential (BTE) waveform, which adjusts shock delivery according to the patient’s chest impedance for optimal effectiveness. It offers multiple shock protocols, with factory defaults including:

• Adult Standard: 150J, 200J, 200J escalating
• Adult Power: 200J, 250J, 360J escalating
• Pediatric: 50J fixed (standard or power mode)

The device analyzes heart rhythm in 4–15 seconds, charges in ≤9 seconds with a new battery, and operates within an impedance range of 20–200 ohms. It meets strict international sensitivity (97%) and specificity (99%) standards under IEC/EN 60601-2-4.

User-Friendly Operation

Designed for both trained professionals and lay rescuers, the AED Saver 1 features:

• Two simple buttons: ON/OFF and Shock, plus an “i” information button
• Clear flashing icons guiding the rescuer through each step
• Visual and audible prompts, including service and battery alerts
• Status LED indicator and battery gauge display

Battery Options

The AED Saver 1 supports both disposable and rechargeable batteries:

Disposable Li-SOCl₂ Battery (SAV-C0903):

• Up to 300 rescue cycles at 200J or 200 cycles at 360J
• Up to 35 hours of ECG analysis
• 5-year shelf life when stored
• 4-year lifespan once installed (with daily self-tests)

Rechargeable Li-ion Battery (SAV-C0011):

• Up to 250 shocks at 200J or 160 shocks at 360J
• 21 hours of ECG analysis
• Recharges in 2.5 hours with charger station (SAV-C0014)
• Recommended charging at least every 4 months

Defibrillator Pads

• Adult pads (SAV-C0846): For patients over 8 years or >25 kg
• Pediatric pads (SAV-C0016): For patients under 8 years or <25 kg
• Pre-gelled, self-adhesive, disposable pads
• Cable length: 120 cm
• Shelf life: 30 months

Data & Event Recording

• Internal memory stores up to 6 hours of ECG and rescue events
• Optional removable SD card (2GB records up to 100 hours)
• Exports detailed self-test logs and multimedia rescue files
• Compatible with Saver View Express data management software
